When we would step out of million dollar listings and then see someone homeless on the streets, there was too much polarity. We knew there was something that could be done. Like Tom’s Shoes, we developed a similar one-for-one model…for every home bought or sold with Dream Team Realty, we donate a portion of the commissions. We then partner with other non-profits, source properties, and donate to help serve the homeless with wrap-around services.
The purpose of this corporation is to improve the quality of life of low-income individuals and families by providing information and resources including affordable housing, food and drinking water in the United States and Internationally and to strengthen community organizations providing affordable housing and services to low income people.
This corporation is organized under the California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes. This corporation is operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of §501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law). Notwithstanding any other provision of these Bylaws, this corporation shall not engage in any activity or exercise any powers that are not in furtherance of the purposes of this corporation, and the corporation shall not carry on any other activities not permitted to be carried out on (i) by a corporation exempt from Federal Income tax under Section 501 (c ) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future United State Internal Revue Code of 1986 (or corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law).
